Unlocking Purpose, Profit, and Performance
At Proctimise, we’ve always believed that every business deserves better procurement. But in today’s world, better can’t just mean sharper commercials or smoother processes — it has to mean accountability, integrity, and positive impact too.
That’s why we’re proud to share that Proctimise is now B Corp Certified, joining a global community of more than 9,000 businesses committed to using business as a force for good.
This milestone marks an important moment in our journey and reinforces our purpose: aligning purpose, profit, and performance — without compromise.
What B Corp Certification Really Means
B Corp Certification is awarded by B Lab, the not-for-profit organisation behind the global B Corp movement. Certification isn’t symbolic — it’s rigorous. Businesses are assessed across governance, workers, community, customers, and the environment, with standards that challenge companies to look beyond short-term gains.
For us, achieving certification means our values aren’t just words on a website — they’re embedded in how we operate, who we work with, and the impact we choose to have.
As our Managing Partner, Gordi Thompson, puts it:
“At Proctimise, our ethos has always been that every company deserves better procurement. But in today’s landscape, ‘better’ must include social and environmental accountability.
This milestone reflects our commitment to nurturing a thriving workplace, contributing meaningfully to our communities, and embedding sustainability at the heart of our operations. We’re excited to be part of a global movement of businesses using their influence for good.”
Using Marketing Procurement as a Force for Positive Change
We believe marketing and procurement can — and should — be powerful levers for positive change. Commercial success and social impact aren’t opposing forces; when done well, they strengthen each other.
Our B Corp Certification builds on a number of commitments we’ve already made as a business, including:
Giving back to the planet
We’re proud members of 1% for the Planet, committing 1% of our annual revenue to environmental causes. It’s our way of supporting organisations actively driving meaningful, measurable change.Championing responsible industry practices
We follow the principles of the Conscious Advertising Network, the Pitch Positive Pledge, and the Sustainable Procurement Pledge, advocating for more transparent, collaborative, and ethical ways of working.Being intentional about who we work with
We’ve made a clear choice not to work with fossil fuel, tobacco, or gambling companies — because ethics are shaped not only by what we do, but by the company we keep.Paying fairly and supporting our people
We’re accredited by the Living Wage Foundation, reflecting our commitment to fair pay and building a supportive, ethical workplace.
A Journey, Not a Destination
As a young consultancy, we don’t see B Corp Certification as a finish line — we see it as a framework for continuous improvement.
“B Corp Certification reflects our purpose to find the change that fuels growth for our people and our clients,” Gordi adds. “It’s about doing better across our entire business, year after year.”
We’ll keep challenging ourselves to raise standards — in marketing procurement, in partnerships, and in the wider industry.
What This Means for Our Clients and Partners
For our clients, B Corp Certification is a signal of how we show up:
principled, not transactional
commercially sharp, without cutting corners
focused on long-term value, not short-term wins
f you’re looking to build stronger agency partnerships, reduce waste, and create marketing ecosystems that actually work — while aligning with your own sustainability and ethical goals — we’d love to talk.
