July’s Monthly Round Up

July was one of those months that reminded us why we love what we do. Alongside plenty of exciting client work and strategic planning, we made time to invest in our own business, strengthen our relationships, meet new people across the industry and give something back to our local community.

For us, that's what a successful month looks like. Not just ticking off tasks, but creating opportunities to learn, connect and make a positive impact.

Shaping Our Future Through Impact

One of the standout moments of the month was our Impact Strategy Workshop.

We were joined by the brilliant Hannah Keartland from Keartland & Co, who facilitated the session and challenged us to think differently about the role Proctimise plays within the marketing procurement industry. Throughout the day, Nick Brincat from The Small Green Studio captured the conversations and energy of the workshop, giving us plenty of moments to look back on.

The focus of the day was our Product-Market Impact Fit and defining what principled procurement truly means for Proctimise. While we've always had a clear sense of why we exist, this workshop gave us the dedicated time and space to refine that thinking together.

There were honest discussions, lots of ideas shared across the team and some healthy debate along the way. By the end of the session, everyone had a clear understanding of where we're heading and, more importantly, how each of us can contribute to getting there.

Every member of the team left with their own impact-focused actions, helping us build the foundations for our evolving purpose, behaviours and values. These aren't ideas that will sit in a document somewhere. They're already being turned into practical actions and integrated into our day-to-day work.

We'll be sharing more about the outcomes of the workshop over the coming weeks, including the consolidated write-up and the progress we're making against the actions we've each taken away.

Celebrating 7 Years!!

After a full day of strategy, it was time to celebrate.

We headed to Alexander the Great in Camden for a fantastic Greek dinner, making the most of a beautiful summer evening together as a team.

One of the nicest surprises of the evening was being joined by Grace, our very first intern. It was lovely to catch up and hear what she's been up to.

The dinner also gave us the chance to celebrate another important milestone as Proctimise officially turns 7 years old on 21st August.

Looking back over the last 7 years, it's incredible to see how the business has evolved. From a small consultancy to working with some fantastic brands and building an incredible network of clients, partners and friends, it's been quite the journey. Moments like these are a reminder to pause, celebrate the progress we've made and get excited about what's still to come. Keep your eyes peeled on our LinkedIn for more birthday celebrations!

Out and About at MAD//Fest

Aimee and George headed to MAD//Fest to represent Proctimise.

With thousands of people attending from across the creative, media and marketing industries, it was a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and build relationships with new ones.

Networking often gets a bad reputation, but we've always believed that the best conversations happen naturally. Rather than simply swapping business cards, the team spent time getting to know people, understanding the challenges agencies are facing and exploring where we might be able to support one another in the future.

Events like MAD//Fest continue to prove that getting out from behind our desks and meeting people face-to-face remains one of the most valuable things we can do as a business.

Supporting the Next Generation

Giving back has always been an important part of who we are, so one of our favourite days this month was when Sam and Ross volunteered at Queen's Park School to deliver mock interviews for sixth-form students.

Preparing for interviews can be daunting, particularly when it's your first experience of the recruitment process. Spending the day helping students build confidence, practice answering questions and receive honest, constructive feedback was incredibly rewarding for all involved.

It's something we've supported for a number of years now, and every time we're reminded just how valuable these conversations can be. Sometimes a little encouragement or advice can make a real difference to someone's confidence as they prepare to take their next step into work, further education or apprenticeships.

For us, creating positive impact extends beyond procurement and marketing. It's also about using our experience to support our local community whenever we have the opportunity.

As July comes to a close, we're looking ahead to another busy few months. With exciting projects in the pipeline, new partnerships beginning to take shape and our impact strategy now moving into action, there's plenty to look forward to. We can't wait to share what's next.
