September’s monthly wrap up!

September has absolutely flown by.

As we head into the final few months of the year, it’s been a busy month for the Proctimise team, with plenty happening both in and out of the office.

From getting stuck into the B Corp community and exploring what’s next for FMCG growth, to launching our latest whitepaper and saying goodbye to one of our interns, here’s what we’ve been up to.

Getting out and about

One of the best things about being part of the B Corp community is getting the chance to meet other people working across marketing, procurement and purpose-led businesses.

This month, we headed to a B Corp breakfast in King’s Cross, hosted by Pollen and Green & Fortune.

It was a great opportunity to meet other people building purposeful businesses, share experiences and have some of those conversations that you don’t get from sitting behind a screen.

With thousands of people attending from across the creative, media and marketing industries, it was a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and build relationships with new ones.

Networking often gets a bad reputation, but we've always believed that the best conversations happen naturally. Rather than simply swapping business cards, the team spent time getting to know people, understanding the challenges agencies are facing and exploring where we might be able to support one another in the future.

Events like MAD//Fest continue to prove that getting out from behind our desks and meeting people face-to-face remains one of the most valuable things we can do as a business.

We also headed to Communication House for Scroll Shop Repeat’s FMCG Growth in the AI Era event.

With conversations around AI, social commerce, TikTok Shop and creator culture, the event explored where FMCG growth is actually coming from in 2026 and, importantly, what these changes mean in practice for brands and marketers.

Some familiar faces in their band tees spotted out and about in Camden

There’s certainly no shortage of change happening across the industry, and getting out into the wider marketing community helps us keep those conversations going.

Spilling the tee

September also saw us take part in Radio 6’s Spill the Tee Day.

The idea was simple: share the stories behind our favourite bands and artists.

For Aimee and Poppy, it was all about Harry Styles. Ross went for Guns N’ Roses, while Gordi chose Madonna.

It was a fun excuse to share a little more of the people behind Proctimise and, as always, prove that there’s more to a team than what you see on a LinkedIn profile!

Our new Influencer Marketing whitepaper

September was also the month we launched our latest whitepaper, Influencer Marketing: Six Years of Maturity.

Influencer marketing has changed significantly over the last six years. What was once treated by some as a relatively new channel has become a major part of the marketing mix, with the global category now worth an estimated $33 billion.

But growth also brings complexity.

Our latest whitepaper looks at how the channel has matured, the challenges marketers and procurement teams now face, and what businesses need to consider as influencer marketing becomes increasingly sophisticated.

If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can do so here.

Saying goodbye to Sam

September also marked the end of Sam’s internship with Proctimise.

Over the past few months, Sam has become part of the team, bringing fresh ideas, curiosity and plenty of enthusiasm to his time with us.

We’re always passionate about creating opportunities for people to get real experience and learn more about the world of marketing and procurement, so it’s been great to have Sam with us.

We’re sad to see him go, but excited to see what comes next for him. Read Sam’s reflection blog here.

Good luck, Sam!

It’s been a busy September, but there’s no slowing down just yet.

As we head into the final quarter of the year, we’re looking forward to more conversations, more learning, and plenty more happening across the Proctimise team.

Bring on October.
