April’s monthly wrap up!
April has been all about building momentum, getting hands-on and staying focused on what matters from sustainability to community impact and continuing the conversations we started last month.
Earth Day: More Than a Moment
Earth Day gave us a great opportunity to pause and reflect but for us, it’s never been about just one day.
This Earth Day, we’re proud to be part of something bigger and we took the day to celebrate exactly that.
At proctimise, we’re a member of 1% for the Planet, committing 1% of our annual revenue to environmental causes that help protect and restore the world around us. It’s a small percentage that contributes to a much bigger impact.
For us, it’s not just about doing good, it’s about taking responsibility and being part of a global movement driving real, lasting change. Alongside this, we continue to hold ourselves to the highest standards as a Certified B Corp.
Because real change doesn’t happen in a moment, it happens through consistent action. Earth Day is a reminder, but the work continues every day.
Supporting Our Local Community
Away from the day-to-day, we took time out as a team to support something closer to home.
We packed away our laptops and spent the day at Hackney Foodbank, supporting a vital service at the heart of our local community. Hackney Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust network, supports people facing poverty with dignity and compassion. Since opening in 2012, it has distributed more than 864,632kg of food and essential household items to individuals and families in crisis across Hackney. As a volunteer‑led charity, it relies on the generosity of the local community and works with over 200 partners to ensure people receive the right support at the right time
Across the day, we packed 32 single parcels and five family parcels, the equivalent of 468 emergency meals for people and families facing difficult times. We also helped prepare deliveries, ensuring support reaches those unable to attend a collection point.
It’s a small contribution in the grand scheme of things, but it reinforces something we strongly believe: businesses have a responsibility to give back.
A big thank you to Jenna and the Hackney Foodbank team for the warm welcome, and for the incredible work you do every day.
Continuing the Pulse Conversation
After launching Pulse last month at Marketing Procurement iQ, April has been about continuing the conversation.
Our light-touch agency evaluation tool is already sparking interest among marketing and procurement teams looking to strengthen relationships and drive better performance.
And to round things off, George had the pleasure of meeting our competition winner, who’s now the proud owner of a new WHOOP band, along with a pair of our famous proctimise socks.
April has been a strong step forward and we’re just getting started.
If you’d like to hear more about Pulse or what we’ve been working on, get in touch.
