Richemont -Translation & Transcreation Review

Proctimise were engaged by Richemont to review their ineffective ways of working on translation & transcreation services

Luxury Goods  |  Operating Model Design | Building Marketing Powerhouses

the challenge —

Richemont's translation ecosystem had grown fragmented (consisting of; a primary partner, multiple local agencies, freelancers and emerging AI tools), with inconsistent quality of delivery, no KPIs, and no central governance across its Maisons (BU’s).

the approach —

Over an 11-week review, Proctimise mapped the current ecosystem, interviewed stakeholders across procurement and marketing, and evaluated three operating models; fully outsourced, fully in-house, and hybrid. The recommended hybrid model brings more centralised control and a potential annual saving of +€1m.

outcomes and takeaways

Richemont adopted the hybrid model combining agency support with internal AI tools, standardised workflows, renegotiated commercial terms , and a governance framework to scale AI capability over time.

Modernised operating model & commercials with +€1m saving potential, and a framework for scaling AI

“Proctimise is a Marketing Procurement agency that shows great professionalism and brings valuable support to any project given to them. The human part is important, as Ross and Hazel were always listening to the needs and proposing solutions.”

— Ziad Seifeddine -Sourcing Manager
